Dip brazing is the universally accepted process for fabricating aluminum assemblies. As dip brazing is an immersion process, every joint, regardless of how intricate or complex the assembly may be, is brazed. The strength of these joints are, in most cases, as strong as the base metal itself. Also, as dip brazing subjects the entire assembly to uniform heating, there is minimal physical distortion, allowing for consistent dimensional accuracy. Dip brazing can reduce, and in some cases, eliminate costly post machining operations. Through the continual upgrading of our equipment, and training of our technicians, we have become an industry leader in the dip brazing field.
Vacuum brazing is a process in which aluminum components are joined together using alloy filler metal processed within a heat controlled vacuum chamber. The process recipe, once developed, will yield consistent results from first to last part.
Vacuum Brazing offers many advantages over other aluminum joining techniques. These include:–
Excellent for liquid & high-density fin cold plates and heat exchanger applications.
High pressure and hermetic seal capability even in thin wall designs.
Compatible with welding processes and structural bonding to increase design flexibility.–
No salt corrosion or post-braze cleaning issues due to flux free processing.–
Leak tight, high-strength braze joints that approach near parent material properties.–
Computer controlled processing for consistent product quality. –Multiple assembly batch processing for efficiency.
Inaccessible internal flow path braze joints can be brazed.
Effective stress relief of brazed assemblies.
If you have an aluminum fabrication application, no matter how complex, find out what countless other companies in such fields as computers, medical and aerospace communications have found, dip brazing is the answer.
