CNC Machining

An integral part of our manufacturing operation is our machine shop. It is equipped with state of the art CNC machining centers and lathes. We have over 40 machines on our floor. These machines are complemented with secondary computerized machines that are utilized for prototype and short run production work. As Our machine operators, machinists, programmers, and engineering staff work as a unit, we are able to perform a wide variety of work. This, coupled with the fact that we are able to maintain close tolerances on complex and intricate parts, gives us that extra dimension so necessary today to remain competitive.

J. Kittredge & Sons programming department programs all CNC machining centers using GibbsCAM software. GibbsCAM is the industry leader in PC based programming. GibbsCAM has the flexibility to program directly from all major modeling formats besides a full modeling capability of it's own.
